I've just finished 80 levels of soloing and am now readjusting my mindset for partyraiding. My guild islumpy in ourlasses, so I figured I'd trk down whh petsanover for buffs. This is partially to share what I've got, and see what I'm missing. Ferityarrion Birds -- Demoralizing reh -- equal to WarriorsDruids demo shout Wasps -- Sting -- Faerie Fire with damage, same value Wolves -- Furious Howl -- Inferior to Blessing of Might and
Battle Shout unning Serpents -- Poison Spit --urse of Tongues Birds or Prey -- Snah -- Disarm (so rogues?) Sporebats -- Sporeloud -- Inferior Faerie Fire, but AoE. Tenity -- Worms -- id Spit --- Sunder Armor duplate Am I missing any? The rest look to be varieties of damagebet buffpet heal.
Nvm, thought you'd missed one, but looking bk I see you got wolves in after all.
I'd leaveunning and tenity pets
out of there. Seen as how their dps is so low it's not worth taking one with a bit of utility over a ferity pet. Not in the least bause ofotW.

guild is so melee heavy that if we don't have a warrior the worm's sunder would probably be the best bang for the bk. EDIT: also, in the uoming nerfotW is going to hunter-only, not the party.
I realize that, butotW still is like an extra trinket. And if you're very melee heavy I'm sure you have either a prot or dps warrior :P For the rord, yes a worm is worth it when you have no sunder. It's terrrible when you do. Some guy on TKA spent some time on testing pets on the spreadsheet: dragondah wrote:I played around with the spreadsheet as well trying to determine whh pet would be best. Tested a number of different pets using a 54116 sp. In thease of iluding exot pets, I swapped out the lone point in Survival Instits for Beast Mastery as that seemed to be the lowest DPS loss.
I was iluding only the buffs we use in our 10 man group (don't have enough for 25), and the "testing" was to see whh pets wouldome out on top in the preseeabsee of spif debuffs, namely Sunder Armor, Faerie Fire, Mangle, and Earth and Moon. As I progressed with the tests, I started removing some pet families from the tests due to their unique family ability tually dreasing DPS by keeping it in the rotation. The orpid fell into the group, along with most "utility" abilities. The 10 families that I finished with:at Gorilla Raptor Wasp Wind Serpenthimeraore Hound Devilsaur Spirit Beast Worm Note that these tests were done 2 night ago before the new base numbers for Rake and orpid Poison were annoued, so take the for what you will. Results: Theat pled mid-pk in mostases, but dped very low in the absee of Mangle (8th in onease). In someases where there was a lot of Armor redtion present, I found that Rake was a detriment to use overlaw spam without Mangle. The Gorilla pled 9th in allases, just ahead of the Worm. It pled last whenever the Worm was 1st. One interesting note was that the Gorilla in onease was only about 40 DPS behind theat. The Gorilla pled where I had expted. The Raptor never pled lower than 4th, and was either right
ahead of or right behind the Devilsaur. There were only 2 eeptions (see Worm and Wasp) as to why it pled lower than 2nd. It was able to outple the Devilsaur when Mangle was present, but only by about 3 DPS (Raptor itself was about 14 DPS behind the Devilsaur, but personal DPS dropped by about 17 from having to put a point in Beast Mastery) The Wasp was usually mid-pk. In someases (Earth and Moon absent
and high armor redtion present) Sting was found to be a detriment. The presee of Earth and Moon always bumped it up aouple spots. The biggest note here is that in the absee of Faerie Fire, the Wasp was 1st by about 90 DPS (Hunter + Wasp DPS), with one eeption (see Worm). The Wasp itself was usually slightly ahead of the other pets as well due to Sting's debuff. The Wind Serpent was low, usuallyo
